Canadian Made, Family Owned and Operated
family traditionHickory Lane Kitchen’s known cabinet history dates back to the late 1800s. Reginald, my great grandfather built carriages under the name Sunbury Carriage Works. My grandfather migrated to Canada in the early 1900s and became a homebuilder and mason. In keeping with the family tradition, my mother Betty created a custom furniture business in Stouffville, Ontario in 1961, her greatest strength being her ability to combine cabinet building skills with a strong sense of design. That tradition has been passed down to present day.
Hickory Lane's designs are a continually evolving process. We are always on the lookout for fresh and ground breaking ideas and products while still holding on to sound manufacturing techniques. Training in construction, finishing and installation allows us to ‘think outside the box’ with confidence. Blending the next generation of family into the business keeps our designs fresh and relevant for today's market.
